Much of Colletonís beauty is owed to the practice of agronomy. With science and technology, course agronomists, managers and greenskeepers work to maintain and condition the living playing surface of our breathtaking courses. Agronomy considers the choice of turfgrass, environmental conditions like sunlight, oxygen and nutrients and the various landscaping elements of the course as a whole. The Colleton course management team conducts soil tests, performs periodic aeration and distributes the appropriate amount of micro and macro nutrients throughout the year to maintain the award-winning courses here.
Among the responsibilities of this team are:
- Landscaping practices including irrigation, mowing and fertilization
- Weed and pest control
- Equipment Management
- Soil and turf analysis
- Continuous Site Inspections
- Horticultural Practices
Colletonís course Agronomist and team are proud to bring you several of the most beautiful golf courses and golf amenities in the world.
