Dining at Colleton River
Although there are over 250 restaurants and cafés conveniently located mere minutes away in Bluffton and Hilton Head Island, Colleton River offers a number of dining options for the most discriminating of palettes.
At the Nicklaus Clubhouse, complimentary coffee and muffins are provided for early risers, while delicious breakfasts and lunches are served whenever the Nicklaus Course is open. Enjoy lunch in the men's grille or ladies' lounge, or if you prefer, dine outdoors on the regal veranda overlooking the Nicklaus Course and the Colleton River. Later in the day, members can choose to dine in either a casual or more formal setting, with dinners served in both the stylish main dining room and the more relaxed pub. As a member, you can reserve the beautifully decorated Wine Room for smaller dinner parties or use the elegant banquet room for special private events.
The Dye Clubhouse, with its expansive porches overlooking the course and Port Royal Sound, provides a more casual dining experience for Colleton River members, while true to a Lowcountry lifestyle, Colleton River's Halfway Café is a casual, drop-in dining experience many members enjoy regularly, both indoors and out. There are even takeaway options available at both The Nicklaus and The Dye Clubhouses. Whether it's the daily breakfast or the Saturday night special, there are always delightfully different items on the menu, including freshly baked homemade pastries sure to tempt the taste buds.
No matter where you decide to dine for the day, our outstanding chefs strive to provide the very best of culinary experiences. With a focus on farm-to-fork, we work hand-in-hand with local suppliers to provide the freshest seafood, produce and ingredients year-round. The vast majority of our restaurants' produce is grown locally at organic farms, and an abundant array of fresh seafood is purchased locally every day. Menus are changed on a regular basis to incorporate seasonal dishes and dietary concerns, while at the same time showcasing the finest in Southern cuisine.
