"This is the best course I have ever built."
Pete Dye
The only course of its type in the southeast United States, the Colleton River Pete Dye Course is a links-type course that has unobstructed views of Port Royal Sound and the Atlantic Ocean from eleven of its eighteen holes. You can stretch it to over 7300 yards; and it features small, undulating greens that are well protected by pot bunkers common to many of Dye’s designs. When the course opened in 1999, it was selected by Golf Digest as One of the Top Ten New Courses in the U.S, and was later selected by Golf Magazine as one of the Top 100 Greatest Courses in the U.S. The Pete Dye Course is just one of three fine courses at Colleton River Plantation Club. You’ll never play the same game twice. Take a look at our renowned Jack Nicklaus Course and the challenging par 3 Bruce Borland Course. |
