Meet, mingle and shareWhen they’re not on one of our renowned golf courses, playing tennis or taking advantage of our wonderful amenities, Colleton River members often join a club, a class or a networking group.
And, if you like baseball, there are seasonal trips to Savannah to see the Sand Gnats, a minor league team that is affiliated with the New York Mets. On occasions when you want to relax with friends and neighbors and meet informally, try the Halfway Café or one of our many dining alternatives. |


Many Colleton River members are personally involved with the University of South Carolina at Beaufort and enjoy various courses through its Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI).


The History Exhibit displayed throughout the Dye Clubhouse traces the history of the land that is now Colleton River Plantation Club. The exhibit areas feature the early history of the Devil’s Elbow, the founding of South Carolina, the Colleton “neck” after the Colletons, the Native Americans and the archaeology at Colleton River. The Battle of Port Royal Sound between the Union navy and the Confederate forces is narrated and graphically described.
