Playing Lesson

Taken from the Playing Building Block of the Academy, this is a great way to get out on the course and troubleshoot with your instructor. The Nicklaus, Dye, and Borland courses offer unique challenges that will test the most seasoned golfer—and we'll help you with conquering the course, be it 3, 6, 9 or 18 holes.

Junior Golf

The Golf Academy has designed custom Kids Klinics and Kamps which are offered in one, two and three-hour programs to fit your needs. Children who live at Colleton River Plantation Club as well as those who are visiting are invited to join in our programs that are designed to help with development, strength, coordination, motor skills and golf. Some of the fun can involve anything from obstacle courses, soccer, football, tee ball and balance beams to jump rope, tug o' war, climbing, bowling, jumping, SNAG golf and, of course, golf swings.

Taught by our Academy Instructors, this is not your typical Junior Golf Program, but a program designed to teach the proper motor skills needed in daily life but also used to play golf. With fun being our goal, we also cover proper rules and etiquette for the Plantation and the game of golf.
